Bluffton Oyster Company

Bluffton Oyster Company is the sole surviving oyster house in the historic town of Bluffton, South Carolina. Once a thriving and renowned seafood market, the century-old business sits upon more than a hundred years of shucked oyster shells as it continues to produce world-class fresh seafood.

Before the early light of dawn, one can see the oyster farmers launch their boats to search for the day’s catch. The painstaking work continues upon their return to shore, where they gather and clean the oysters.
